As a college first-year, Bergen founded TRASH MAG, a women-led zine and digital media organization that provides a platform for creative ideas. From fine art to storytelling, the media brand combats the exclusivity of the media and art world by prioritizing underrepresented voices. Art and narrative are displayed through a digital and print magazine, events, merchandise, website, and blog. TRASH MAG is a catalyst for radical change, empowerment, and empathy.
